Province Wide Portable Ac Program . This Request For Proposals Is Issued By Bc Hydro To Obtain Proposals From Parties Wishing To Provide Program Delivery Services In Support Of The Free Portable Ac Program (The “Program”). The Program Provides A Fully Installed, Free Portable Air Conditioner (Ac) Unit To Eligible Individuals Referred By Health Authority Programs Across The Province. Customers May Also Elect To Self-Install Their Units. The Program Is A Provincial Heat Safety Initiative Intended To Reduce The Risk Of Adverse Health Impacts From Extreme Heat Events For Individuals Referred By Regional Health Authorities. Bc Hydro Intends To Award A Single Contract To One Successful Proponent, Who Will Be Designated As Bc Hydro’S Program Delivery Agent (Pda). The Pda Will Be Responsible For End-To-End Delivery Of The Program Across British Columbia, In Accordance With The Program Specifications And Scope Of Services. The Contract Is Expected To Be For An Initial Term Of(3)Years, Which May Be Extended For Up To(5)Year(S)Through One Or More Contract Extensions, For A Potential Total Term Of(8)Years. This Procurement May Involve Negotiation.
