Notice Is Hereby Given That The Ministry Of Forests Is Contemplating Making A Direct Award Of A Contract To Bulkley Valley Research Centre (The “Supplier”).The High-Level Details Of The Contemplated Contract Are Generally Described Below.The Primary Project Goal For The Gitanyow - Bcgov Partial Harvesting And Carbon Collaborative Project Is To Assess Innovative Silviculture Regimes On Their Ability To Meet Multiple Values Between 2025 And 2100. We Are Building On Indigenous Knowledge, Extensive Research Into Interior Cedar Hemlock Forest Types Over The Last 30+ Years, And The Current Gitanyow Land Use Plan. Management Regimes Will Be Assessed Based On Shared Values Including Timber Supply Resilience, Growing Stock, Carbon Balance, And Carbon Storage.
