The Apij Is A National Public Establishment Of An Administrative Nature Placed Under The Supervision Of The Keeper Of The Seals, Minister Of Justice In Accordance With Its Creation Decree No. 2006-208 Of February 22, 2006 Relating To The Status Of The Public Agency For Justice Real Estate. Lapijs Mission Is To Build, Renovate And Rehabilitate Courthouses, Penitentiary Establishments, Buildings For Judicial Youth Protection Services, And Ministry Training Schools, In Mainland France And In The Overseas Departments And Communities. As Part Of A New Political Order, The Minister Of Justice Asked Apij To Renew Its Construction Methods In Order To Accelerate The Delivery Of Its Real Estate Operations. Lapij Therefore Wanted To Use Modular Construction Processes (2D Or 3D Modular) And Explore The Possibilities Of Standardization-Massification Of Its Building Production. The Principle Of Modular Construction Complying With The Safety And Security Requirements Of The Ministry Of Justice Being A Novelty, As Is The Search For Standardization-Massification Of Buildings, It Was Decided To Use The Innovation Partnership Procedure.
