This Tender Considers The Acquisition And Installation Of Traffic Lights At Three Intersections In The Commune Of Maipú; • 1St Intersection; Av. Las Torres With Av. Simón Bolívar • 2Nd Intersection; Av. Cuatro Poniente With Las Tinajas • 3Rd Intersection; Av. Sur With Padre Hurtado It Currently Operates Under “Stop” Priority Signs, However, These Signs Do Not Allow Adequate Regulation Of The Vehicular And Pedestrian Conflict, Causing Fatal Accidents, Which Is Why The Municipality, Through The Directorate Of Transit And Public Transportation, Justified And Designed The Traffic Light Projects, Which Are Approved By The Traffic Control Operational Unit (Uoct). The Methodology For The Construction Of The Traffic Light Corresponds Exclusively To The Projects Approved By The Uoct, As Well As The Methodology Set Forth In The Traffic Signaling Manual Of The Ministry Of Transportation And Telecommunications, The Paving Manual Of Serviu Metropolitano And Any Other Instructions Issued By The Uoct Metropolitan Region. All Of The Above In Accordance With The Provisions Of These Administrative Bases, The Technical Bases And All Their Annexes.
