We Are Looking For A Creative Partner To Increase The Recognition Of The City Of Lahti And Build The Brand. The Creative Agency Is Required To Have The Ability To Plan And Implement Effective Marketing Communication Measures That Build An Image Of Lahti As A Modern University City And Strengthen Recognition As An Environmental City. The City Of Lahti Is Looking For A Creative Partner Who Manages The Conceptualization, Planning And Implementation Of Strategic And Operational Marketing Communications. During The Contract Period, A Marketing Communication Concept Will Be Built With The Creative Office, Which Will Strengthen Lahtis Image, Especially As Europes Leading Environmental City And A Modern University City, But Also As A Sports, Event And Cultural City. The Task Of The Chosen Creative Office Is To Bring Out Ways To Build Finlands Youngest University Town Into A Modern University Town. We Are Hoping For Bold Ideas To Build The Image Of The University Town In The Next Few Years. Other Universities In Finland Have Been Operating For Decades, Even Hundreds Of Years. In The First Stage Of The Competition, We Are Hoping For Preliminary, But Bold, Functional And Creative Ideas For The Upcoming Campaign, Which Will Help Build An Image Of Lahti As A Modern University City. We Value Expertise In Gaining International Visibility Through Communication. We Are Waiting For A Reference With Which The Bidder Can Demonstrate His Ability To Gain International Visibility. The Procurement Will Be Carried Out In A Two-Stage Limited Procedure. In The First Stage, A Request For Participation Is Published, To Which Candidates Submit An Application For Participation. Based On The Applications For Participation, A Maximum Of Five Offices Will Be Selected For The Second Stage To Submit A Bid. A More Detailed Description Of The Procedure Can Be Found In The Procedure Section Of This Request For Participation. Cooperation With The Creative Agency Begins With The Signing Of The Contract, Which Is Supposed To Take Place In Early 2026. Marketing Communication Plans Will Be Drawn Up For The Years 2026–2028, And They Will Be Supplemented And Refined During The Contract Period. The City Of Lahti Takes The Goals Of Environmental Responsibility And Sustainable Development Into Account In Its Purchases. Communication And Marketing Services Are Purchased During The Contract Period According To The Customers Needs, The Customer Does Not Commit To Minimum Purchase Quantities. In All Meetings And Interactions, We Primarily Use The Finnish Language. The Campaign Material Is Implemented In Finnish And Most Of The Pr Content Is Also Produced In Finnish. Most Of The Meetings Are Held In Lahti, Finland. Some Of The Meetings Can Also Be Held Remotely/Hybrid. The Finnish Language Is A Requirement In Communication Between The Customer And The Supplier, But It Does Not Limit The Working Group
