Blood Gas Apparatus - The Equipment Must Be Capable Of Measuring, In A Single Whole Blood Sample, The Full Panel Of Critical Care Parameters, Including, At A Minimum: Blood Gases (Ph, Pco2, Po2), Electrolytes (Na+, K+, Ca++, Cl-), Metabolites (Glucose, Lactate) And Co-Oximetry Per Measurement Direct (Thb, So2, O2hb, Hhb, Cohb, Methb). Must Accept Whole Blood Samples (Arterial, Venous Or Capillary) With A Volume Of No More Than 100 Μl (Microliters) To Carry Out The Complete Panel, With An Analysis And Result Release Time Of No More Than 60 Seconds. The Methodology Should Use Planar Sensors Or Biosensors For Gases, Electrolytes And Metabolites, And Spectrophotometry For Cooximetry. The Equipment Must Operate With A Single And Integrated Consumable System (Cartridge) Sealed, Which Contains All Reagents, Calibrators (Aqueous And/Or Gaseous), Washing Solutions And The Waste Container, Being Free Of Maintenance By The Operator. Calibration And Quality Control (Qc) Must Be Fully Automatic, Integrated Into The System And Without The Need For External Gas Cylinders. The Measuring Cartridge Must Have Usage Stability (On-Board) Of At Least 28 Days. Additionally, It Must Have An Automatic Sample Integrity Verification System (Detection Of Clots And Bubbles) With A Self-Cleaning Mechanism For The Sampling Probe. Operation Must Be Via User Interface Through A Color Display With Touch Screen And Barcode Reader (1D/2D) Integrated Into The Body Of The Equipment, With Internal Results Storage Capacity And Network Connectivity (Ethernet/Lan Port) For Bidirectional Integration With Lis/His Systems. The Electrical Supply Must Be Abnt Nbr 14136 Standard, With Automatic Voltage Selection (Bivolt 100-240V).
