Tender For Maintenance Of Fire Fighting Equipment In The Area Of Age U Ws Ii Under Ge U Water Supply Delhi Cantt 10- 1 Supply and fixing in replacement single headed Stainless Steel fire hydrant landing valve type "A" (single head outlet) of 80mm dia landing valve with 63mm dia female outlet complete and 80mm inlet with rubber blank cap and chain as per IS 5290-1983, suitable for brigade hose of 63mm with couplings conforming to IS 903 including taking down the existing one complete all as specified and directed. 2 Supply and fixing in replacement of weather proof standard fire hose box made of 18 SWG gauge MS sheet 800mmx800 mmx250mm with double door with 4mm thick glasses and door frame including locking arrangement by allen key stove enamelled fire red finish with "Fire hose" marked on front and brilliant white inside yard suitable for housing of and consisting of 2 lenghts RRL hose pipe conforming to IS 636-1979 (type-II) of 63mm dia including taking down the existing onecomplete all as specified and as directed. 3 Supply and fixing in replacement in position 63mm nominal bore and 15mm long synthetic fibre circular woven jacketed rubberized fabric reinforced rubber lined (RRL) fire hose pipe of approved make bearing IS 636-1988 type A mark and heavy duty delivery hose coupling (conforming to IS ; 903) bound and rivetedto the hose pipe with copper rivets and copper wire complete all as specified and including taking down the existing one omplete all as specified and as directed. 4 Supply and fixing in replacement position Stainless steel 63mm dia short size branch pipes with 20mm dia nozzles with 63mm instantaneous coupling ISI marked (IS; 903) and including taking down the existing one complete all as specified directed. 5 Supply & fixing in replacement water delivery thermoplastic rubber line (first aid hose) as per IS 12585 20mm dia 30mtr length to with stand 10 Kg per sq cm working pressure fitted with gunmetal nozzle and shut off valve of any size complete all as specified and directed. 6 Supply & fixing Gun metal gate valve with iron wheel head screwed both iron iron pipe ISI Marked as per IS 778 of following sizes including taking out unserviceable gate valve complete all as specified and directed :- 7 25mm bore 8 50mm bore 9 Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of wall mounting swinging type first aid fire hose reel drum with drum size hanging bracket including thermoplastic rubber (first aid hose) as per IS 12585 20mm dia 30mtr lenght to with stand 10 Kg per sq cm working pressure fitted with gunmetal nozzle and shut off valve of any size complete all as specified the hose reel shall be conforming to IS 884-1985 including for 25mm dia MS pipe connection from riser to hose reel sockets nipples elbows valve etc Drum shall be fixed on adjoining wall through anchor fasteners/cement concrete hook or MS stand as per site requirment, including taking down the existing one complete all as specified directed.(Note:- (i) Old material of fire hose reel drum alongwith other accessiories shall be taken on charge under demolition/salvage egister in "EACH".)(ii) Quated unit rate shall be included cost of fixing/hanging item of internal hydrant and one as either side of stage. 10 Taking up and down from each floor and existing location for refilling of fire extinguisher of the following type size and capacity fixing existing/new location including PVC sleeve screw etc any requirement for fixing the extinguishers after refilling the extinguishers.(Note:- Testing report will be submited by contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge.) 11 Fire extinguisher CO2type 4.5 Kg Capacity 12 Fire extinguisher ABC powder type 5 Kg Capacity 13 Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of 300mm dia pipe heavy duty class "C" MS pipe ,ISI marked as per IS: 1239 with all necessary fittings and fabrication like tees, elbows, flanges, reducers, gaskets, nuts and bolts etc welding or screwed joints as required including fixing of pipe with necessary standard clamps structural steel supports as required/directed at site including painting of two coats of synthetic enamel paint of post office red colour over a coat of red oxide primer including taking down the existing MS Pipe complete all as specified and directed. 14 Supply & fixing in replacement Pad lock 40mm 7 LVR complete with 3 key complete all as specified and as directed. 15 Repair /Maintenace of Fire box such as replacement of broken hinges 2-4 Nos, making of locking arrangement including gas/ arc welding work complete and as required in site complete all as specified and as directed. 16 Supply, fixing, jointing & testing cast Iron Sluice ValveISI Marked, flanged ends drilled pressure rating PN-1.6, PD Short body,Confirming to IS 14846 -2000, having stainless steel spindle with cast iron operation wheel at top including taking out unserviceable sluice valve complete all as specified and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge for following bore:- (Note:- (i) Flanged joints complete with jointing material shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.) 17 80 mm bore 18 150 mm bore 19 200 mm bore 20 250 mm bore 21 Supply, fixing, jointing and testing ofCast iron Non Return valve of size 80 mm dia without by pass arrangement , Swing type, confirming to IS 5312, flanged ends pressure rating PN 1.6 complete including taking out unserviceable NRV complete all as specified and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- (i) Flanged joints complete with jointing material shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of item.) 22 Supply, fixing, jointing & testing cast Iron Butterfly Valve of size 150mm dia ISI Marked,class (PN-1.0,) including taking out unserviceable Butterfly complete all as specified and directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- (i) Flanged joints complete with jointing material shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.) 23 Supply, fixing, jointing & testing in replacement of Bourdon type presure gauge with gun metal isolation cock and copper "U" Tube having calibration of 0-10 Kg/cum and 100mm dia size all as specified including taking out of unserviceable presure gauge complete all as specified and directed. 24 Supply, fixing, jointing & testing in replacement of presure switches IPS 100 or approved equivalent including making connection with the control panel and the presure vessel complete in all respects the electric continuity is maintained between contacts NC and COM under normal conditions the contacts changeover to No & COM on rise of presure to preset valve all as including taking out of unserviceable presure switches complete all as specified and directed. 25 Supply, fixing, jointing & testing in replacement of gun metal Air release valve of size 25mm dia having rubber ball (of suitable range and calibrated complete screwed both ends for iron pipe including all accessary (nut bolt washers) ISI marked as per IS: 778 including taking out unserviceable bridge complete all as specified directed. 26 Supply, fixing, jointing & testing of Gun metal 3 way Fire brigade inlet to down commer line with 63mm dia instantaneous type inlet and 150mm dia flanged outlet conforming to IS: 904 with blank cap and chain existing one completeincluding all accessary (nut bolt washers) and including taking out unserviceable fire bridge complete all as specified directed. 27 M&L for applying one coat of synthetic enamelled paint as per approved colour code of fire fighting Riser pipe line (80mm to 150mm dia) in fire nitch ground floor to terrace pipe lines inside the the shaft and fire fighting station induction motor coupled with fire pump on terrace pump house etc complete all as specified directed 28 Supply, fixing, jointing & testing in replacement of manual call point beark glass type enclosed in MS enclosures body of 3mm thickness complete with chain and hammer and Incl inscriber in case of fire break glass compete including all connected accessary and taking down the unserviceable manual call complete all as specified and directed. 29 Supply, fixing, jointing & testing in replacement of Electrically operated Electronic Hooter enclosed in MS enclosures of suitable size painted with sythetic enamaled paint red coloured complete with suitable transformer including all connected accessary and taking down the unserviceable hooter complete all as specified and directed. 30 Supply, fixing, jointing & testing and commissioning of 2x1.5sq. mm..+1x1.0sqmm earth wire 1100 voltes solid/multi stranded copper conductor PVC sheathed cable including suitable size of lugs for connection manual call point to Hooter including making good the surface of wall after replacement of conductor and taking down the unserviceable conductor complete all as specified and directed. 31 M&L Alteration/ Modification in existing floor mounting type cylindrical pressure vessel add supporting legs size 150mm dia and 1.5 mtr high as per (IS;2062) and fixing testing and commissioning of the vessel including sockets/flanges welded for inlet outlet provision for pressure gauge, pressure switches, air release valve etc of sutiable required size. The pressure vessel shall be painted inside with anti-corrosive epoxy paint and outside with two or more coats of synthetic eneamel paint of fire red colour over a coat of ready mixed primer both of approved quality including taking down the existing vessel for alteration complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 32 Supply, fixing, jointing & testing and commissioning of floor mouting type cylindrical pressure vessel with supporting legs size 150mm dia and 1.5Mtr high with dished end and knuckle radius (IS;2062) the vessel shall be made of 8mm thick MS plate welded alround with sockets/flanges welded for inlet outlet and scour pipes pressure gague, pressure switches, air release valve etc. of suitable required size the pressure vessel shall be painted inside with anti-corrosive epoxy paint and outside with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of fire red colour over a coat of ready mixed primer both of approved quality including taking down the unserviceable pressure vessel complete all as specified and as directed by EIC. 33 M&L for disconnection of electrical and water connection of the centrifugal puimp and motor of capacity 10 HP from base plate and transport to work shop, carfully opening and replacement of bushes, mechanical seal, ball bearing rubber gasket nut and bolt fixing the require new parts (parts such as shaft impeller, coupling, mechanical seal and bearing shall be supplied under relevant item of schedule) and complete re-fixing its in original position and making good all electrical and water connection and tesing complete all as specified.
