Patient-Monitoring System – Supply Of An Advanced Multiparametric Monitoring System For The Central Icu And Updating Of The Monitoring Of The Lateral Icu Of The University Hospital Of Sant Joan D’Alacant Including Preventive, Corrective, Legal Technical Maintenance. The Intensive Care Unit (Icu) Is An Essential Service Within The Hospital Structure, Since It Is Responsible For Caring For Patients In Critical Condition Who Require Highly Specialized Care. The Personnel Who Work In These Units Are Highly Trained And It Is Necessary That The Equipment Available Be Equally Adequate And Modern. To Improve Patient Care And Optimize The Work Of Professionals, It Is Essential To View Both On The Monitor Screen And In The Different Centralized Monitoring Stations. The Monitoring Centers Are Key In The System, Since They Not Only Allow The Visualization Of Data But Also The Storage Of Waves And Parameters, The Integration With The Hospital Information Systems (Demographic Data, Admission Messages) And The Printing Of Reports. It Is Essential To Guarantee The Continuity Of Monitoring When The Patient Leaves The Icu Box, Hence The Need To Include Transport Monitors. The Intensive Medicine Service Of The Sant Joan Dalacant University Hospital Is Made Up Of Two Areas Separated By A Corridor That Are Described As The Central Icu And The Lateral Icu. In The Central Area There Are 10 Individual Boxes, Equipped With 10 Head-End Monitors And In The Side Area, 6 Boxes With 6 More Head-End Monitors, With A Central Monitoring Station In Each Of Them That Are Connected To The Individual Monitors. In Addition, There Is A Specific Box Separate From The Rest For Performing Invasive Techniques That Is Equipped With A Bedside Monitor. Currently, The Monitoring System Has Exceeded Its Useful Life, So The Obsolescence Of The Equipment Makes Its Repair Very Difficult In The Event Of A Breakdown Due, Among Other Reasons, To The Lack Of Spare Parts Due To The Obsolescence Of The Monitoring, Which Prevents The Replacement, Replacement And Supply Of Sensors, Cables, Monitors, Among Others. At The Current Time, The Bedside Monitors And The Monitoring Centers Are Suffering Repeated Breakdowns, Adding The Problem Of Their Spare Parts Due To Their Obsolescence, Which Prevents In Most Situations The Replacement, Replacement And Supply Of Sensors, Cables And Monitors, Among Others, As They Have Been In Operation Uninterrupted Since Their Start-Up. All Of These Characteristics Are Fundamental To Define Icus That Advance Over Time, Since They Incorporate The Best Available Tools Into Their Daily Practice, Thus Guaranteeing Care In Line With The Technological Advances That Are Developing By Leaps And Bounds. This Contract Seeks To Satisfy The Need To Fulfill The Institutional Purposes Of The Public Health System (Royal Decree 1030/2006, Of September 15) And, Likewise, Falls Within The Investment Plan For Specialized Care, Approved By The Department Of San
