Quotation are invited for Feasibility Study on an Electric Railway Network Linking Gulf Ports to Gaza and Haifa Port through the West Bank and Jordan as a Logistics Hub Consultancy Services Project Overall Objective To conduct a comprehensive technical and financial feasibility study of the proposed electric railway network, while providing an initial assessment of its economic, geopolitical, and environmental impacts, with particular emphasis on supporting Gazas recovery and regional stability Project Expected Results · A clear assessment of the technical feasibility and interoperability of a regional electric railway network · Estimated capital and operational costs with sensitivity scenarios · Analysis of regional geopolitical dynamics and stakeholder interests · Initial evaluation of environmental and climate-related risks and mitigation measures · Assessment of economic benefits for Jordan and Palestine, including contributions to Gazas reconstruction · High-quality reports and advocacy materials to support policy dialogue and regional cooperation under IMEC 3. Duration The consultancy assignment is expected to commence on 1 February 2026 and conclude by 15 May 2026, with an estimated total duration of approximately 40 working days, in accordance with the deliverables and timeline outlined in the Terms of Reference. 4.
