Environmental Monitoring Other Than For Construction - Monitoring Of Alien Species In Marine And Limnic Environments. Hav Today Orders Monitoring Of Marine Ports With The Aim Of Identifying Alien Species. The Marine Monitoring Program Covers The Largest Swedish Ports And Nearby Marinas Along The Entire Coast Of Sweden. The Monitoring Method Has Been Developed Over The Years To Be Able To Find New Alien Species And Follow Known Alien Species In Their Distribution. The Method Is Based On The Collection Of Samples From Five Plankton Hauls With 90 Μm Nets (Which Are Pooled In Two Samples), Five Water Samples (Edna), And Two Fouling Panels Per Harbor (Which Are Divided Into Four Samples) And On Two Occasions (Early Summer And Late Summer) Followed By Metabarcoding And Sequencing Of At Least One Marker (Cytochrome C Oxidase I, Abbreviated Coi). All Data, Including Sequence Data, Genetic Species Observations, And Direct Species Observations Of Alien Species In The Field Must Be Made Publicly Available To Be Analyzed Together With Other Data In The Future. In Order To Continue Current Monitoring In The Marine Environment And To Expand The Monitoring Program To Also Include Ports In Fresh Water (Vänern And Lake Mälaren), An Open Tender Is Now Being Made By The Norwegian Maritime And Water Authority On The Condition That The Authority Receives Expected Sufficient Budget Funds For This Monitoring. The Procurement Takes Place As An Advertised Procurement With The Intention Of Signing An Agreement For The Performance Of Monitoring And Associated Services. The Assignment Is Limited To 2026–2028.
