Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Appointment Of Design Team: Renovation And Restoration Project Blauwendael Castle. In Concrete Terms, The Municipality Of Waasmunster Is Looking For A Design Team For The Renovation And Restoration Project Of Blauwendael Castle, Within Its Wishes And Requirements As A Client. The Current Assignment Is Divided As Follows: • Fixed Part: Renovation Of The “Outer Shell”, I.E. Roof, Exterior Carpentry And Facade (Inside Repair Techniques: Electricity And Plumbing); The Renewal Of The Fixed Part Will Involve An Investment Of An Estimated Amount Of Eur 4 Million Including Vat All-In (In An Applicable Vat Regime Of 12%, Incl. Fees); • Conditional Part: Further Renovation Of Other Parts Of Blauwendael Castle (Subject To Available Budgets). Throughout The Project, Attention Must Be Paid To Integrating And/Or Preserving Aspects Of Heritage. In Addition, The Contractor Will Have To Be Responsible For The Organization, Follow-Up And Delivery Of The Execution Of The Works. The Client Looks For A Design Team To Provide Maximum Peace Of Mind. The Design Team Must Therefore Act As A Reliable Technical Advisor For The Client. The Design Team Will Arrive At A Global Design Through A Participatory And Co-Creative Process With The Client. Through This Participatory Process, The Designer Is Expected To Refine The Program Of Requirements Towards A Broadly Supported (Preliminary) Design. The Design Team Will Then Be Responsible For: - The Complete Preparation Of The Design (In A Highly Participatory Process) And Cost Estimation, - The Complete Compilation And Submission Of The Application For Obtaining An Environmental Permit, - The Preparation Of Tender Files For The Works, - The Preparation Of The Implementation File, - The Organization Of The Tenders, - The Review Of The Quotations And The Preparation Of Advice For Awarding The Contract(S), Including Price Checks And Price Justifications, - Supervising The Execution Of The Works, Including Organizing Site Meetings, Checking Settlements And Progress Reports For Acceptances (Acting As A Leading Official For The Client, But With Purely Advisory Powers), - Providing Assistance With Delivery And Warranty As Well As Acting As A General Point Of Contact For The Realization Of The Building (Including Pid And As-Built Files).
