According To This System, A Multi-Year Maintenance Plan (Mjop) Is Established On The Basis Of (Annual) Inspections And Measurements And From There A Set Of Road Sections Annually Where Life Extension Maintenance (Lvo) Must Be Carried Out. A Set Of Road Sections Is Called A Sub-Project Within This Selection Guide. A Measure Will Then Be Determined For All Sub-Projects, Which Guarantees That This Route Will Be Maintenance-Free For The Next 10 Years. This Is Also What Por Understands By Lvo. Traditionally, The Initial Scope Is Developed Into A Final Scope By Deploying An Engineering Firm. In Practice, However, It Appears That A Contractors Knowledge And Experience In The Design Process Leads To A Better And More Efficient Design. For This Reason, There Is A Need To Involve A Contractor In The Project At An Early Stage, So That His Expertise Can Be Used In The Design Phase. In Addition, It Has Been Shown That Utilizing Learning Capacity Within Similar Projects Can Yield Significant Quality Gains. For This Reason, The Port Of Rotterdam Authority (Por) Has Chosen To Highlight Four Sub-Projects. The Desire Is To Carry Out These Four Sub-Projects Serially, With One Equal Team. This Means That The Same Internal Project Team, The Same Engineering Firm And The Same Contractor Work Together On These Projects.
