It Replaces The Former Municipal Spatial Structure Plans Of The Former Municipalities Of Opglabbeek And Meeuwen-Gruitrode And Offers An Integrated Vision Of The Desired Spatial Future Of The Merged Municipality. The Spatial Policy Plan Will Serve As A Compass For Municipal Spatial Policy Until The Year 2050. It Describes The Ambitions, Principles And Policy Choices With Which Oudsbergen Wants To Respond To Current Challenges Such As Urbanization, Climate Change, Open Space Conservation, Housing, Mobility And Economic Development. Special Attention Is Paid To A Sustainable, Climate-Neutral And Child-Friendly Design Of The Living Environment. The Municipality Expects The Contractor To Carry Out This Assignment In Close Cooperation With The Municipal Services And Local Government. The Collaboration Must Lead To One Supported Policy Document That Is Substantively Strong, Visually Clear And Widely Accessible To The Population. The End Result Of The Assignment Is A Definitively Adopted Municipal Spatial Policy Plan In Oudsbergen, Approved By The Municipal Council, Which Will Serve As A Guiding Policy Document For Future Planning And Spatial Decisions.
