Tenders Are Invited For Environmental Services - Recording Of Amphibian Species With A Special Focus On The Species In Appendices Ii And Iv Of The Habitats Directive Between Weißenfels, Eckartsberga And Nebra In 2029
Environmental Services - Recording Of Amphibian Species With A Special Focus On The Species In Appendices Ii And Iv Of The Habitats Directive Between Weißenfels, Eckartsberga And Nebra In 2029. The Aim Of The Service Is To Record The Amphibian Species Group In As Many Suitable Bodies Of Water As Possible Within The Respective Measurement Table Sheet (Mtb), With Priority Given To Bodies Of Water With A High Potential For Species In Annexes Ii And Iv. For The Recording, At Least 3 Inspections Should Be Carried Out Per Measuring Table Sheet, Whereby 4 (Preferably Connected) Field Days (With 8 Mapping Hours Each) Must Be Completed To Inspect A Complete Measuring Table Sheet (Corresponds To One Field Day Per Visit And Mtb Q). For The Entire Recording (At Least 3 Ascents) There Are 12 Full Off-Road Days Available Per Mtb. These Must Be Completed In Full In Any Case - Regardless Of The Number Of Mapped Bodies Of Water. Due To The Size Of The Study Area And The Z. T. Short Population Maximums Of Selected Species In The Waters (Explosive Spawners) Should Be The Above. Field Days Can Be Divided Among Several Detectors Working In Parallel. An Exact Number Of Bodies Of Water To Be Recorded Is Not Specified, As This Is Based On The Above. The Time Required Can Vary Greatly Depending On The Local Conditions (Size Of Bodies Of Water, Travel Distances Between Bodies Of Water, Etc.) And In General, The Maximum Of The Above Mentioned. Use Of Time To Record Possible Bodies Of Water. However, 25 Bodies Of Water To Be Mapped Per Measuring Table Sheet Should Be Considered An Absolute Minimum (Corresponds To 6.25 Bodies Of Water Per Field Day). With Regard To The Selection Of Water Bodies, Care Must Be Taken To Ensure That They Are Distributed As Evenly As Possible Throughout The Entire Mtb And The Mtb-Q And That There Are No Mapping Gaps. In Advance Of Mapping, Corresponding Work Maps (Or Digital Maps) Should Be Created For Each Mtb Or Mtb-Q, On Which All Pre-Numbered Bodies Of Water That Can Be Identified Using Geodata (Btnt, Osm Water Data, Etc.) (Mtb-Wise Consecutive Numbering In The Scheme: “3437-001”) And, If Applicable, Known Species Occurrences Are Shown. The Corresponding Data Will Be Made Available By Lau After The Contract Has Been Awarded. With The Help Of These Maps/Digital Bases, The Mtb Can Be Systematically Walked And Mapped In The Terrain. The Amphibian Populations In The Waters In The Basement Are To Be Recorded Between Mid-March/Beginning Of April And Mid-May 2029. A Corresponding Pre-Selection Of The Most Suitable Waters For Mtb Can Be Made In Advance Using The Maps And During The First Inspection. The Waters Suitable For Amphibians Must Be Mapped On A Total Of At Least Three Dates During The Main Reproduction Period Of The Relevant Amphibian Species, With Inspections Having To Take Place Primarily At Night. Ideally, The First Inspection Takes Place In March Both During The Day And At Dusk/Night (E.G. From 2:00 P.M. To 10:00 P.M.), So That A Pre-Selection Of The Most Suitable Waters In The Mtb-Q Takes Place During Daylight And A New Inspection Takes Place In The Evening For The Actual Recording. This Approach Should Also Be Followed For Further Inspections In Order To Provide Evidence
