In The Course Of Awarding The Broadcasting Rights For The Bundesliga, Ard Was Once Again Able To Secure The Exploitation Rights To The Audio Netcast Package (Web, Mobile). The Bundesliga Audio Netcast Package Is An Offer From Ard With Live Full Reports Of All Games In The First And Second Bundesliga, Champions League With German Participation, Dfb Cup And Supercup As An Audio Stream. Full Reportage Streams Of Individual Games Are Offered For All Games. In Total, Thats Up To 720 Games Per Season. There Are Also Conferences For Games Taking Place At The Same Time. The Audio Streams Can Be Accessed In Apps And On Various Online Platforms (E.G. Sportschau App, Wdr2.De) As Well As In Various Voice Assistance Systems (E.G. Alexa). The Streams Are Supplemented By A Live Moderated Supporting Program, Which Is Created Using Wdrs Own Production Technology. Wdr Is Responsible For Netcast Transmission For All Ard State Broadcasters Involved. A Production Process Was Developed For Audio Netcast Transmission For The First Time In 2021. In Order To Take Current Requirements Into Account And Make This Technology Usable For Other Formats In The Future, A New Technology Is To Be Used Between August 2026 And June 2029. For This Purpose, An Overall System Operated In A Cloud Is To Be Developed For The Transmission, Interconnection And Processing Of Signals From The Stadium To The Wdr. The Subject Of The Award Is The Development Of A Cloud-Based Transmission And Processing System, The Development Of Stadium Units, Training As Well As The Operation And Service Of The Hardware And Software Components In The Period From August 2026 To June 2029.
