Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Structural Planning For The Residential Group Extension, Stutensee Castle. Short Description Of The Project The Stutensee Castle Youth Facility Offers Accommodation For Children Up To 15 Years Of Age On The Grounds Of The Castle Grounds. However, The Current Care Situation Makes It Difficult To Utilize Residential Group Capacity, Even Though Demand Is Increasing. The Evening And Night Hours Are Particularly Challenging When Employees Have To Work Without The Support Of An Active Night Guard. This Increasingly Leads To Overload Situations And Makes It More Difficult To Attract And Retain Qualified Employees In The Long Term. In Addition, The Demands On Care Have Changed: Requests For Children And Young People With More Complex Psychological Stress Are Increasing. The Care Of Such Children Can Only Be Ensured To A Limited Extent When Working Alone During The Night. This Situation Is Already Leading To Urgently Requested Housing Spaces Not Being Able To Be Filled Because The Necessary Staff Are Not Available. In Order To Sustainably Improve The Care Situation, Structural Further Development Is Being Sought. By Structurally Combining Residential Groups 19 And 20 And Connecting A New Residential Group And Several Individual Apartments, Common Supply And Night Structures Can Be Created. An Active Night Watch Would Support All Groups And Significantly Improve Working Conditions. Space Program Common Areas (For All Three Living Groups): • Foyer With Multifunctional Lounge Area (Table Football, Table Tennis, Etc.) • Meeting Room For Approx. 8 People • New Central Kitchen For The Supply Of All Groups (Existing Kitchens Remain) • Cafeteria For Approx. 30 People With A Separate Area For The New Living Group • At Least Two, Ideally Three Individual Apartments For More Intensive Individual Measures • Bicycle Parking Facility For Approx. 25 Bicycles New Residential Group: • Entrance With Cloakroom Area • At Least 8 Residents Rooms, Each With Shower And Toilet • Two Lounges (Playroom And Living Room) • Employee Office With Tea Kitchen • Night Watch Office With A Direct Connection To The Existing Residential Groups 19 & 20 The Central Common Areas Should Be Located On The Ground Floor And Remain Easily Accessible From All Residential Groups. Since The Bedrooms Of The Existing Residential Groups Are Located On The Upper Floor, The New Residential Group Will Also Be Planned There, Including The Night Watch Office For Short Distances And Quick Response Options. A Detailed Project Description Of The Individual Measures Can Be Found In The Feasibility Study.
