The Wadden Area And Ems Are Tidal Areas, Which Means That Channels Can Meander. This Causes Coverage Gaps In The Existing Cables And Pipelines Between The Mainland And The Islands On The Other Side. There Are Also Cables And Pipes In The Ijsselmeer. These Coverage Deficiencies Are Made Transparent Through Periodic Soil Surveys. In Order To Repair These Coverage Defects, It Is Necessary That Nautical Work Is Carried Out By Dredging Throughout The Entire Work Area, In Such A Way That Sufficient Ground Coverage On Cables And Pipes Is Obtained.
