Work Detail

The Contractor Shall Provide The Following Services:(A) Project Supervisionincluding But Not Limited To Fsr Brushing, Ditching, Grading, Surfacing, Culvert Installation, Bridge Repair/Maintenance, Road Deactivation Etc.(B) Road Inspectionsdata Collection Following Supplied Road Inspection Form, Minor Repairs Might Include Culvert Cleanout, Bucking Felled Trees, Replacing Km Sign Boards, Replacing Bridge/Structure Delineators, Culvert Marking And Recommendations For Future Maintenance.(C) Road Maintenance & Deactivation Prescriptionsif And When Required. Develop Descriptive Plans (Site Plan With Detailed Map) For Road Maintenance And Deactivation. For Road Maintenance This Includes Identifying Where Brushing, Ditching, Grading And Culvert & Bridge Maintenance Is Required. For Deactivation Identifying The Level Of Access, Locating All Drainage Structures, And Developing Details For Safe Removal (Identifying And Confirming Fish Passage And Timing Windows For In Stream Works), Identification Of Water Bar And Cross Ditch Placement To Control Runoff And Natural Drainage, Plans To Address Slope/Road Stability (Geotechnical Professionals Will Be Provided If/When Needed), Etc. All Prescriptions Need To Be Signed By A Abcfp Registered Professional Forester (Rpf) Or Registered Forest Technologist (Rft). Equipment Supervision Is Also Required.Specific Requirements For Each Phase Of This Project Can Be Found In The Tender Documents (Schedule A). In More Complex Or Higher Risk Cases The Contractor Will Be Required To Incorporate Specialists’ Input, E.G., Terrain Stability (Geo Technical Engineer), Or Removal Of Structures (Bridge Engineer) Across Fish Bearing Streams.
