Goods Lifts – Government Contract For The Supply, Installation And Maintenance Of 2 Box Lifts. To Continue To Guarantee The Best Possible Care, It Has Been Decided To Build A New Building For Dentistry And Mka On The Gasthuisberg Site, The Construction Of Which Will Start In The Autumn Of 2026. Two Bin Lifts Will Be Provided In This Building For The Vertical Transport Of Goods Such As Medical Equipment, Consumables, Pharmaceuticals And Sterile Equipment. The Building Will Have A Total Height Of Approximately 30 Meters And Consist Of 8 Levels (-2 To +5). Urgent Requests (Rush Orders) That Are Not Known In Advance (Where The Patient Is Already Present In The Treatment Box When The Dentist Notices That He Needs An Additional Item) Must Be Brought To The Correct Level Just-In-Time Via The Bin Lift. The Bin Lift Departs From The Central Warehouse At -2 And Ends In A Logistics Intermediate Warehouse On Each Level, Where An Ejection Must Be Provided With A Linked Conveyor Belt/Roller Conveyor. The Bins Will Arrive Here Awaiting Collection. This Roller Conveyor Should Be Able To Buffer At Least 4 Bins (Depending On The Size Of The Bins). The Roller Conveyor Does Not Necessarily Have To Be Driven At Level If Not Necessary, Gravity Is Permitted. The Basic Design Of The Elevator Control Is Unidirectional: The Elevator Departs From The Logistics Level (-2) And Takes Goods To One Of The Upper Levels (Up To +4). The Technical Level (+5) Does Not Need To Be Operated. A Bidirectional Operation — For Example Traffic Between The Other Levels Or The Return Of Goods To The Logistics Level — Is Not Necessary, But Is Considered An Additional Added Value. The Containers Themselves Are Modular Containers With A Maximum Size Of 600 X 400 X 200 Mm And A Minimum Size Of 300 X 200 X 200 Mm. The Openings In The Shaft Of The Bin Lift Are Always Closed With A Single Air Hatch (Airlock Is Not Necessary) If No Transport Is Required. In The Shaft With The 2 Barge Elevators, 2 Air Hatches Are Never Open At The Same Time. Furthermore, The Openings In The Shaft Of The Bin Lift Must Be Closed With Self-Closing Doors Or Hatches (Ei60) In The Event Of Fire. The Maintenance Covers A Period Of 13 Years + 2 Years During The Warranty Period.
