Construction Work – Limited Tender With Pre-Qualification – Main Contractor. Helsingør Municipality Wants To Modernize The Existing Care Center Bøgehøjgård And Transform It Into A Residential Facility In Accordance With §107 And §108 Of The Service Act. The Housing Offer Must Create A New Framework For People With Mental And Physical Challenges. The Common Thread In The Project Is That Here The Aim Is Not Only To Create A Place To Live, But A Place Where You Can - With Support - Shape Your Own Life. The Project Is Based On Helsingør Municipalitys Disability Policy, Where It Is A Fundamental Ambition That Citizens With Disabilities Have The Opportunity To Live An Independent And Meaningful Life And To Be Part Of Both Neighbourhoods, Local Urban Environments And Communities - To The Extent That They Want It. The Housing Offer Must Therefore Support Both Privacy, Safety And Access To Communities, As Well As Create A Framework That Opens Up To The Surrounding Community Rather Than Closing In On Itself. The Project Is Also Based On The Recovery Mindset, Where Hope, Dreams And Development Are At The Center. This Calls For Architecture That Balances Privacy And Community, And That Supports Both Security, Homeliness And Well-Being. Emphasis Is Placed On The Physical Framework Reducing Barriers – Both Physical, Psychological And Social – And Contributing To Real Accessibility For Citizens With Different Needs.
