1. The Subject Of The Order Is Winter Road Maintenance, Hereinafter Referred To As Zud, The Purpose Of Which Is To Ensure Passability And Limit Disruptions To The Flow Of Road Traffic Caused By Phenomena Such As Snowfall And Sleet. 2. The Approximate Number Of Snow Removal Days Per Season Is 15.3. The Subject Of The Contract Will Be Winter Maintenance Of Roads, Squares And Sidewalks By Clearing Snow And Sprinkling A Mixture Of Sand And Salt Using The Companys Own Transport, Equipment And Materials. The Service Is Intended To Remove Snow From The Road And Accompanying Facilities Such As Bus Bays, Parking Lots, Squares And Sidewalks. It Is The Responsibility Of The Zud Contractor, Especially In The Morning, To Ensure Continuous Traffic On Those Roads Where There Is Daily Traffic Of Vehicles Transporting Children And Youth To Educational Institutions. Services Will Be Provided Based On The Needs Resulting From Snow Removal, Sprinkling Depending On The Prevailing Weather Conditions With The Required Response Time, Appendix No. 1, Snow Removal Sequence 1, And Maintenance Of Sidewalks And Parking Lots Until 6 A.M., Other Areas Until 8 A.M. Providing Services With Snow Removal Equipment, I.E. Asphalt Roads At The Width Of The Road, And In The Case Of Roads With A Crushed Stone Or Dirt Surface, At A Width Allowing For Safe Passage. Removing Slipperiness Using Appropriate Equipment At Crossings, Hills, Intersections, Bus Bays And On Sidewalks And Bicycle Paths In A Predetermined Sequence By Mechanically Or Manually Sprinkling Snow-Cleared Surfaces With A Width | 1.00 – 1.50 M (Size Of A Sidewalk Plow). Removing And Transporting Snow From Streets, Intersections, Sidewalks, Bicycle Paths, Pedestrian Crossings, Pedestrian And Roadways In The Event Of Significant Snowfall, When The Mere Removal Of Snow With Plows Does Not Guarantee The Maintenance Of Passability (Crossings) At The Request Of The Ordering Party. When Clearing Snow, It Is Unacceptable To Put Snow On Side Roads And Entrances, Before Crossings With Roads, The Snow Should Be Removed To The Roadside. The Contractor Shall Be Fully Liable For Any Damage Caused By Abandonment Of Work Or As A Result Of Insufficient Performance Of Winter Road Maintenance Works Or Inconsistent With Applicable Regulations. 4. Requirements For Equipment: Vehicle Performing Works Related To Winter Road Maintenance On The Road In Accordance With Art. 54 Of The Act Of June 20, 1997, Road Traffic Law (Journal Of Laws 2024, Item 1251, As Amended) Should Be Equipped And Send A Yellow Flash Signal. The Plow Should Be Equipped With A Rubber Blade Controlled From The Drivers Cabin. In The Event Of A Failure, The Contractor Is Obliged To Provide Replacement Equipment. 5. Monthly Settlement For Winter Maintenance Of Streets, Sidewalks And Squares Will Be Based On The Actual Number Of Working Hours Of Equipment And People, Taking Into Account The Actual Number Of Kilometers And Meters Traveled.
