Sealed Bids Will Be Received For The 2026 Park Paving And Storm Water Improvement Project At The Lyon City Hall, 161 Ne Broad Street, Lyons, Georgia 30436 Until December 29Th, At 2Pm, At Which Time They Will Be Publicly Opened And Read.The Work Under This Contract Will Consist Generally Of The Following:The Removal Of Stumps And General Grading, Installation Of 18-Inch Rcp Storm Drain, Including Flared End Sections And 2 Storm Boxes, 370 Lf Of Curb And Guttering, 1,067 Sy Of Gabc At 4¿ Depth, 305 Ton Of 12.5 Mm Paving 2¿ Thick, 40 Sy Rip Rap Outlet Protection, Grassing And Pavement Marking. , And All Appurtenances Necessary For A Complete Job.All Work On The Project Must Be Completed Within 180 Consecutive Calendar Days Of The Date Of Notice To Proceed.Bid Shall Be Submitted On Bid Proposal Forms Furnished For That Purpose, This Is A Design-Build Project, Contractor At Risk. A Pre-Bid Meeting Will Be Held On December 10Th, 2025, At 3Pm At The Project Site Located At Partin Park 168, Miot St., Lyons, Ga. 30436, Where The Specifics Of The Project Will Be Detailed On Siteno Bid Will Be Considered Unless Sealed And Filed With The City Of Lyons Prior To The Time Set Forth Above, And Accompanied By A Bidders Bond, Payable To The City Of Lyons, For 10 Percent Of The Amount Of The Bid; To Be Forfeited As Liquidated Damages In The Event That The Bid Be Accepted And The Bidder Fail To Enter Promptly Into A Written Contract And Furnish The Required Payment Bond And Performance Bond And Insurance Certificates. Bids Arriving After The Designated Time Will Be Returned Unopened.No Bids Shall Be Withdrawn For 60 Days After The Opening Of Bids.
