Tender For Special Repair To Roads At Various Locations Of Rangia And Tamulpur Under Ge Rangia; 1 Scarifying of picking graveled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqmand exc 50 mm and n.exc 100 mm in depth 2 Scarifying of picking graveled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in ares exc 50 mm deep and exc 100 mm deep removing and stacking at distance n. exc 50 mtr 3 Screening road metal, Chippings, etc. on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring. 4 M&L for 15 cm thick (complete thickness) WBM in two layers each 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) with coarse agg (Lime stone, sand stone, Flint or Quartzite) of grading 1 (90 to 40 mm Size) spread , rolled with 8 to 10 ton power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber all as specified and directed. 5 M&L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) with granite, trap or balast spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with 8 to 10 tone power roller to required compaction complete all as specified and directed 6 Labour only for 75 mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate ofgrading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) with Granite , trap or Basaltspread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required. with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed. 7 Preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, Sweeping with brooms and finaly fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose, dirt etc 8 M & L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with RS grade cationic emulsion @ 7.5 kg/Ten sqm using mechanical sprayer onWBM surface all as specified and directed 9 M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 50mm or less) using paving Bitumen of VG-30 10 M&L for Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or mechanical blower to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed. 11 Applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MaRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface as specified and directed. 12 M&L for applying bituminous premixedsemi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with minimum 5.5% binder of paving bitumen of VG-30 grade, content by weight of total mix incl cement filler, on surfaces, rolled compacted with using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to achieve the required compactness, camber and gradient mixed in hot mix plant as per design mix and laid by mechanical paver finisher complete all as specified & directed. Note:- The actual binder content used shall be as per optimum content based on approved job mix formula with minimum content of 5.5% by weight of total mix. 13 Moorum/red bajari filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and as directed. 14 Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete as in repair. 15 Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions 16 Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed 17 M&L for applying 2.50mm thick retro reflectivethermoplastic road marking paint using thermoplastic road marking compound confirming to MOST, AASHTO M249 and BS 3262 with 30-40% pre mixedType -1 glass beads confirming to BS 6088, on existing road surface after preparatioon of surfaces, complete all as specified and directed 18 Supply and fixin repairs Convex mirror 1000 mm made of PC Material providedwith suitable MS Pipe post, duly powder coated meant for road turning, intersections, curves, T-junctions, Hospitals, Parking lots etc., with clear & define mirror image having 130 degree of viewing angle, unbreakable & stronger than glass, spring, post (710 x 80 x 210 mm) body of spring is made of special flexible material (polyuthrethane) without itcan be quicly resorted to its original state without doing any damage without doing any damage to spring posts as well as vehicles in case of collision by vehicles. Two bands of retro reflective tape are pasted on the spring post. Epoxy bond is used to fix spring post with road surface the bond is so strong that post will not be deviated by strong impact after installation length of spring post 710 mm , upper dia 80 mm & bottom dia is 210 mm complete all all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.
