The Intent Of This Request For Proposals (“Rfp”) Is To Solicit And Receive Formal Offers From Prospective Proponents For The Provision Of Fixed Price Construction Services For The Lac La Biche – Provincial Building – Replace Emergency Generator And Replace Existing Main Distribution System And Motor Control Centre And New Power Feed.Provide Labour, Material, And Tools For Lac La Biche – Provincial Building – Replace Emergency Generator And Replace Existing Main Distribution System And Motor Control Centre And New Power Feed Project At Lac La Biche Provincial Building 9503 Beaverhill Road Lac La Biche, Alberta, T0a 2C0 In Accordance With The Drawings, Schedules, And Specifications Herein.Work Of The Project, Of Which Work Of This Contract Is A Part, Comprises The Following:.1 Provide Labour, Material, And Tools For Lac La Biche Provincial Building Project, Locatedat Lac La Biche Provincial Building, 9503 Beaverhill Road, Lac La Biche, Alberta, T0a 2C0the Works Shall Include But Are Not Limited To The Following:(A) Remove The Existing Generator, Ats, Mdp, Cdp, Mccs, Hvac, And Other Associated Equipment.(B) Remove Wire And Feeders From Demolished Power System Equipment And Existing Power Sources To Connect Critical Load To The New Emergency Power System.(C) Removal Of Equipment Within The Old Generator Room.(D) Maintain Branch Circuits Associated With The Mdp, Cdp, And Mccs. Coordinate Breaker Protection With Existing Wiring Sizes.(E) Contactor Is Responsible For Any Hazmat Abatement Require To Complete Its Work-Scope.(F) Supply And Install New Generator, Atss, Emergency Panels, Transformers, And Associated Equipment. This Shall Include Integrating The New Equipment With The Existing Building Management System.(G) Supply And Install The New Mdp, Cdp, And Mccs. This Shall Include Integrating The New Equipment With The Existing Building Management System.(H) The New Emergency Electrical Room Shall Be Updated To The Requirements Of The National Building Code And Other Governing Requirements Complete With Architectural,Mechanical, Electrical, & Fire Stopping Provisions. Patch And Make Good.(I) Install New Power Feeders And Cabling As Shown On The Drawings.(J) Maintain Temporary Emergency Power Generator & Emergency Distribution To The Building Throughout The Construction Period.(K) All Existing And New Openings & Penetrations To The Building Shall Be Repaired, Including Hiring Of A Building Envelope Specialist Per The Specifications. Patch And Make Good.(L) Supply And Install Concrete Pad, Fence, & Sidewalk For Generator. Patch And Make Good Any Affect On Existing Municipal Infrastructure.(M) Patch And Make Good Any Landscaping Affected By Scope Of Work.(N) Perform Excavation And Backfilling Work To Install Underground Ducts Associated With The New Emergency Generator.(O) Perform Fire Alarm Installation As Per Ulc-S524 And Fire Alarm Manufacturerrecommendations. Modify The Base Building Fire Alarm Programming To Accommodate Modifications.(P) Hire Qualified Fire Alarm Contractor To Perform Fire Alarm Programming Testing, Inspection, And Verification.(Q) Hire Base Building Controls Contractor For Reconnection & Integration Of Building Management System Controls. Submit Inspection For Approval.
