Procurement Plan for Construction, Completion, and Maintenance of Roads and Other Services for a Dual Carriageway Separating Saad Al Abdullah City and the Amghara Industrial Area, Connecting Jahra Expressway and the Sixth Ring Road Detailed Objectives: Designing a main road connecting Jahra Expressway and the Ring Road, and three new sub-main roads equipped with infrastructure and other services to provide additional entrances and exits to serve the residents of Saad Al Abdullah City, accommodating the increasing traffic volume resulting from the growing population in the area. Scope of Work: The road serves an area with an industrial nature (Amghara Industrial) and another with a residential nature (Saad Al Abdullah), which results in a diversity of sizes and speeds of vehicles using the road. This poses a significant risk to its users currently due to the low service level of the existing road, the lack of an organized traffic system for vehicles, and the absence of infrastructure and other services. It will aid in the urban expansion of the surrounding areas and also the development of the local road network to accommodate the expected traffic with the population increase and urban expansions in the surrounding areas and solve the problem of traffic congestion.
