Engineering Design Services For The Construction Of Civil Engineering Works – Renovation Of The Tiefer See Dam - Planning Service. The City Of Maulbronn Is Located In The Enzkreis And, With Around 6,500 Inhabitants, Belongs To The Northern Black Forest Region. The City Is Known For The Maulbronn Monastery Complex, Which Was Declared A Unesco World Heritage Site In 1993. The Monastery Was Founded In 1147 By Cistercian Monks. The Monks Built A Water System With Ditches And Dams Around The Monastery In Order To Breed Fish. The Tiefer See Dam Was Probably Built In The First Half Of The 12Th Century. The Reservoir Is Located East-Northeast Of The Monastery Complex And Has A Water Surface Of Approximately 21,000 M². The Lake Should Be Preserved As A Local Recreation Area. It Is Therefore Imperative To Renovate The Lake To Ensure Long-Term Water Quality. The Main Measure Is The Desludging Of The Lake, Which Is Expected To Remove Around 75,000 M³ Of Water-Sludge Mixture. Furthermore, Bed And Slope Protection Against Washouts And Wave Impact Is Necessary, As Well As A Replacement Construction Of The Base Drain. The Total Costs Of The Measure Are Estimated At Around €6 Million. Around 80% Of The Costs Are Covered By Funding. The Engineering Services Required For The Implementation Of The Measure For The Planning Of The Civil Engineering Structures Are Part Of This Award Procedure. Planning Must Begin Immediately After The Order Is Placed (Targeted At The End Of January 2026), As The Measure Must Be Completed By The End Of 2027 For Funding Reasons.
