tender for Jhora Protection work at Godak Khola, Block - III.- Excavation for Structures Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification,including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means.a) upto 3 m depth 2 Providing weep hole (150 X 75mm) in walls including packing brick bats or boulder of approved quality and size at the backsides of walls etc all complete. 3 Filling properly the empty sausage crates withboulders of any size & shape with hand packing afterpreparation of bed of placement, placing the cratein position, carriage of boulders from road stacks witha lead upto 150m etc. complete in all respect including stitching the rest of the crate with wire (passage for filling boulders) after filling up the crate with boulders and launching the crate in position if necessary and as directed by the Engineer-in charge.[Rate provided is exclusive of the cost of stone boulders and sausage crate] 4 Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and Technical Specification.(A) Granular material. 5 Plain / reinforced concrete in open foundation with or without reinforcements in any part of foundation of bridges/culvert with graded chips of appropriate sizes, including screening and cleaning of coarse aggregates/fine aggregates (sand) conforming toproper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary cost of curing with water including cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the EIC, cost of formwork but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawing and Technical Specification.For PCC M-20 Grade 6 Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction. b) For portion of Ht above 1m and upto 3m
