Tenders are invited for Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project (Line-5): Northern Route : Construction of Main Line and Station (Underground Section) Eligibility of Tenderer: The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited now invites sealed Bids from prequalified eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of "Construction of Main Line and Station (Underground Section) from Transition Section of Amin Bazar to Mirpur 1 Station ("the Works")". The Project consists of approximately 13.50 km underground and approximately 6.50 km elevated metro double track rail system with nine underground stations and five elevated stations and one maintenance depot having area of 39 ha. The Works shall consist of construction of 2(Two) tunnels with a length of approximately 5.5 km each for underground main line, and three underground stations including structure work, architectural work and MEP work: Gabtoli, Dar-us-Salam, and Mirpur 1 Stations in Dhaka, as detailed in the Bidding Document. 3. Bidding will be conducted through procedures in accordance with the applicable Guidelines for Procurement under Japanese ODA Loans, and is open to all prequalified Bidders from eligible source countries and areas, as defined in the Prequalification Document and in the Bidding Document.
