Contract Award For N02 Secondo Tubo San Gottardo (2Tg) - Lot 241, Main Tunnel North - Baumeister Gotthard Road Tunnel (1Tg) Has To Be Renovated. On June 27, 2012, The Federal Council Decided In Favor Of The Options Construction Of A Second Tunnel Tube With Subsequent Renovation Of The Existing Tube (Without Capacity Expansion) And Thus In Favor Of A Second Tube (2Tg). In The Final State, The Overall Gotthard Road Tunnel (Gtg) System Consists Of Two Single-Lane, Parallel Tunnel Tubes With A Central Service And Infrastructure Tunnel (Sisto), Which Is Accessible Via The Cross-Connections From 1Tg And 2Tg And Via Its Portals. The 2Nd Tube (2Tg) Is Almost 17Km Long And Lies At A Standard Distance Of 40M East Of The Sisto. The Route Of The 2Tg Is Largely Parallel To The Existing Tube (1Tg) And The Existing Sisto |
