Contract Award For GIS Applications, Licenses And Support Services For The Continued Operation Of The Existing GIS System And Update Of The Existing Drainage Module The Drainage, District Heating, Urban Cleaning And Logistics Divisions Of Entsorgung + Recycling Zürich (ERZ) Use GIS Applications On A Daily Basis To Record, Manage, Analyze And Visualize Geographical Data. These Applications Are Used To Record And Map The Sewage And District Heating Network, The Container And Waste Facilities And The Municipal Waste Bins. For Further Use Of The Applications, Appropriate Licenses And Support Services Are Required To Ensure That They Continue To Function Properly. The Support Services Were Last Awarded By Order Of The Head Of The Department TED No. 278 Of December 20, 2019 For The Years 2020 To 2023, While The Licenses Were Last Awarded By The Directors Expenditure And Award Approval Of January 25, 2022 For The Years 2022 To 2023. The Geomedia Licenses For The GIS Applications Were Only Granted For Two More Years Until The End Of 2023 Because The Replacement Of The Gripsmedia Software By Hxgn Schweiz AG With A Replacement Product At The End Of 2023 Required An Adjustment Of The Previous License And Maintenance Contract. There Is Therefore A Factual Connection Between The Licenses To Be Procured, Support Services And The Upgrade Of The Application Module.
