Governor Martín Llaryora together with Mayor Daniel Passerini signed the contract to execute a high-level project on Avenida Ejercito Argentino, at the exit of the Valle Escondido neighborhood, in the northwest area of ??the provincial capital.
The work is of significant importance in that it will provide a definitive solution to the problems generated by the large flow of vehicles that circulate daily through the aforementioned artery, generating delays and congestion in a sector where traffic from the neighboring city of La Calera.
The crossing at different levels, which will be executed by the Province, through Caminos de las Sierras and the company that won the tender, will be built specifically on Av. Ejercito Argentino (urban area of ??Route E-55), at the height of Republic of China Avenue (Valle Escondido exit).
In detail, the project proposes the execution of a 200-meter-long ascending branch on an embankment at the Av. República de China exit, which will be connected to a 145-meter curved viaduct with reinforced concrete side defenses and then a branch descending embankment with 112 meter long concrete side walls.
Likewise, the road widening of Argentine Army Avenue is planned in the direction entering Córdoba for the incorporation of a third traffic lane from the downhill branch of the viaduct to the intersection with Cagliero Street at the level of Barrio Don Bosco.
The governor valued the joint work with the Municipality of Córdoba and highlighted “this work that improves the quality of life of the residents, and also generates employment.”
“Making a high level of this magnitude is of vital importance for the neighborhoods that are in this area, because it improves traffic and road safety and is a historic investment for the entire sector,” added Llaryora.
