Work Detail Amara Raja Infra Pvt Ltd (ARIPL), has secured a $130 Million Solar Project In Bangladesh, India. The Rural Power Company LTD (RPCL) awarded the project’s contract to the subsidiary of the Amara Raja group. ARIPL’s remarkable achievement further serves as the company’s debut, especially in the international solar market. Moreover, it highlights the company’s expertise as well as growth in renewable energy. Furthermore, official press release statements note that the company will work in collaboration with Premier Solar, a Hyderabad-based firm. The $130 Million Solar development will feature a 100 MW (AC) Solar PV Power Plant. Its contract will include the entire process, right from design, engineering, installation, supply, and commissioning. An Overview Of The $130 Million Solar Project In Bangladesh Right within the Madarganj region of Jamalpur District, the project spans an area of 326 acres. Its completion is scheduled for within the next 18 months, by the end of 2024. Upon operation, ARIPL will also provide maintenance service and comprehensive operation for two years. This will include both consumables and warranty spares. Director of ARIPL, Vikramaditya Gourineni, while commenting on the project’s significant milestone, said that it will enforce the company as a notable player in the international market. Quite impressively, in May 2023, the EPC construction company began development works on a lithium mega factory in the Mahbubnagar district. As a result, Amara Raja will produce lithium cells as well as battery packs. The facility’s total production capacity is said to be 5GWh and 16GWh. Vikramaditya further noted that the development will receive funding support from the Exim Bank of India. Meanwhile, Premier Energies will provide the development with technical support. Moreover, the LEED Gold-rater solar cell and module manufacturer will supply a total of 140 MWp of high-efficiency solar panels to the solar plant.
