Historic work for Baradero: Drinking water pipes will be changed for the central area
BARADERO
"Our project for this historic work for Baradero has been approved, which, accompanied by the new pumps we are building, will dramatically improve water pressure" explained the mayor after communicating the approval of the change of the water network that is already 64 years old.
Currently, the downtown area of ??the town of Baradero is experiencing significant population growth, which is motivated by numerous real estate developments that are being carried out and projected for the future. This resulted in deficiencies in the supply of drinking water service caused by the age of the pipes, which have undergone numerous repairs throughout their useful life. In addition to having seen its diameter reduced as a result of incrustations inside, which brought with it a decrease in pressure by increasing friction losses.
The replacement of the distribution networks in the downtown area includes the perimeter made up of Mariano Moreno, Darragueira, Anchorena and Paso streets. To carry out the work, a pipe replacement-renovation system called Cracking/Bursting, a dynamic pipe system without trenching, will be used. This system has great benefits such as the opening of wells in a reduction of 85% compared to the traditional open trench system, considerable shortening of execution times, minimum soil movement, minimum intervention in the sidewalks, minimum environmental impact, among other benefits. .
The work is executed with the financing of ENOHSA and through the Secretariat of Works and Public Services of the Municipality of Baradero. |
