The Shipping Company Of The Island Community Of Langeoog Is Planning To Build A New Cargo Ship With Which Freight Traffic Can Be Carried Out Between Bensersiel And Langeoog To Supply The Island. Freight Traffic Between The Mainland And The Island Is Currently Handled By The Former Landing Craft “Onkel Otto” And “Pionier”. The New Building Must Be Planned In Such A Way That The Existing Land Facilities In The Port Of Bensersiel And The Port Of Langeoog Can Be Used Without Any Structural Changes. With The New Ship, Freight Traffic Must Be Loaded Onto The Ship Without Obstacles Via The Existing Port Facilities And Unloaded From The Ship Again Via The Port Facilities In The Other Port. The Harbor Concepts Must Be Taken Into Account As An Important Component By The Engineering Office And Integrated Into The New Building Concept. When Planning, The Safety Regulations And Conditions Applicable To The Wadden Sea Sailing Area Must Be Taken Fully Into Account.
