Each Set Of Anchor Bolts Shall Be Positioned Into A Concrete Pedestal 300 X 300 X 300Mm Set In The Ground And Level With Tarmac Base. The Complete Structure Shall Be Centrally Located On A 6M X 6M Tarmac Base. Colours: Four Colours Whirling Platform All Pipework Must Be Galvanized. Platform This Will Be 3 M In Diameter And Constructed From Eight 50 X 50 X 6 Mm T-Section Radial Arms Radiating From The Centre Pivot Post And Welded To A 38 X 10 Mm Flat Iron Outer Band. The T- Section Radial Arms Will Be Suitably Drilled And Tapped To Accommodate The 10 Mm Flooring Anchor Bolts. 50 X 38 X 10 Mm Steel Lugs, Suitably Drilled And Tapped, Will Be Welded At 300Mm Pitch Face Of The Band To Facilitate Satisfactory Retention Of The Outer Floorboards. The Floor Will Be Made Of X6 7.6Mm Vastrap Plate And Hot Dip Galvanized. 90 X 25 X 6 Mm Floor Holding Down Lugs Will Be Bolted To The T-Section Radials Using 10 Mm Hexagon Headed Bolts. Handrails These Will Be 25 Mm Diameter Pipe Joined To The Platform Outer Band By Welding A 50 X 50 X 6 Mm Lug (Welded To The Base Of The Rail) To Two 50 X 25 X 6 Mm Lugs Welded Into The Corners Formed By The T-Section Radials And Outer Band. 17 The Handrails Will Be Flattened At The Opposite Ends And Have Two Lugs, 75 X 38 X 6 Mm, Welded To Them And Bolted To A 75 X 75 X 16 Mm Lug Which Is To Be Welded To The Centre Bearing Support Casing. Cross Stays Of 40 X 10 Mm Flat Iron Will Be Welded To The Base Of The Handrail At The Circumference And Bolted To The Top Of The Bearing Housing, Using The Same Lug Attaching The Handrail. Centre Shaft And Bearings The Centre Pivot Will Be Solid Steel, Machined To Accommodate The Bearings. This Shaft Will Be Welded Vertically To A 600 X 600 X 12 Mm Base Plate, Which Is To Be Braced With 50 X 12 Mm Steel Diagonal Ribs. Eight Symmetrically Spaced Holes Will Be Drilled At A P.C.D Of 450 Mm To Accommodate The 19 Mm Diameter Anchor Bolts. Limiting Bearing Sizes Shall Be: Top: - Id Not Less Than 60 Mm Bottom Id Not Less Than 89 Mm The Bearing Shall Be: Top: - Taper Roller Thrust Bearing Bottom Angular Contact Ball Thrust Bearing Provision Will Be Made To Allow For Bearing Adjustment When Necessary. Bearing Housing This Will Be Suitably Sized Thick-Walled Pipe Welded And Machined To Accommodate The Centre Shaft Bearings In Collars.
