Linear Accelerators – Mkf – M330 Procurement Of Linear Accelerators. Two Linear Accelerators From Elekta Are Currently Being Operated As Congruent Machines (In Tandem) At The Agaplesion Markus Hospital Frankfurt Site (Synergy Model, Installation Year 2009 (Linac 2) And 2011 (Linac 1)). At The End Of Q1/2025 - After The Structural Expansion Of The Radiotherapy - A New Linear Accelerator Will Be Put Into Operation As A Third Machine (Linac 3, Ethos Varian), Which Enables Both Image-Guided (Igrt) And Adaptive Radiotherapy Operation. In Order To Have A Tandem System Available Again In The Future, A Second Ring Accelerator From Varian Will Be Installed In 2026 As A Replacement For Linac 1. As A Result Of The Commissioning Of Linac 3, The Switch To The New Ois (Aria, Varian) And The Replacement Of The Inventory Planning System By The Tps Eclipse (Varian) Will Take Place. Furthermore, The Installation Of A Personal Security System And Patient Guidance System Is Planned In The New Building And In The Existing Rooms. Other Components Of The Infrastructure Include A Radiology Information System (Ris) From Nexus And A Hospital Information System (Kis) From Dedalus. The Surface Monitoring System Catalyst+ Hd From Crad Is Or Will Be Installed On All Linear Accelerators. After The New Technologies On Linac 3 Have Been Put Into Operation And Established, The Older Existing Machine (Linac 2) Will Be Replaced In 2025. The Existing Machine Is Scheduled To Be Dismantled In The Middle Of The Year (July 2025). After A Structural Adjustment Phase Of Approximately 2-3 Months, A New Linear Accelerator Is Scheduled To Be Put Into Operation At The End Of 2025. The Treatment Spectrum Of The Clinic For Radiation Oncology And Radiation Therapy Is To Be Completed By Putting A Linear Accelerator Into Operation, Which Can Be Used For State-Of-The-Art Igrt And In Particular For Stereotactic Irradiation Of The Head And Trunk. The New Linear Accelerator Must Fit Perfectly Into The Existing Or Planned Overall Concept. In Particular, A Connection To The New Ois (Aria) And Tps (Eclipse) Must Be Possible. The Licenses Necessary For Optimized Planning Of Stereotaxic Irradiation May Need To Be Supplemented In The Tps. The Existing Sgrt System From Crad Will Continue To Be Used After Structural Adjustments - With An Interface To The Linac. The Connection Of The Accelerators Safety Circuit To The Room Monitoring System Must Be Guaranteed.
