We Are Looking For A Service Provider To Supply Intel X86-Based Server Hardware For The Virtualization Platform Based On Vmware Software, As Well As, On A Small Scale, Dedicated Hardware Servers In The Two Geo-Redundant Data Centers Of The Winterthur City Administration. Details: * Only Intel X86 Based Server Hardware May Be Offered. * The Hardware For The Virtualization Platform Must Be Vsan Certified So That The Existing Licenses Can Continue To Be Used. * It Must Also Be Possible To Offer Sap Hana Certified Server Hardware. The Sap Hana Certified Hardware Is Also Based On A Vmware Virtualization Platform. * It Must Also Be Possible To Optionally Supply Individual Components (Particularly Ram And Disk Storage Expansion, But Also Cpu, Network Cards, Power Supplies) For Existing Systems. Also Included In The Scope Of This Tender Are Services Related To Updating The Hardware Firmware And Drivers As Well As The Virtualization Platform And Possibly Other Components. These Services Are Accessed As Required By The Tendering Authority, Although There Is No Guarantee Of Acceptance. Also Included In The Scope Of Services Is The Processing Of Maintenance And Warranty Services For The Hardware Supplied. Since Some Of These Are Critical Infrastructure Components, In Addition To An “Nbd” (Next Business Day) Delivery, Part Replacement Must Also Be Covered Within 4 Hours For 7X24x365 Days. For This Purpose, The Offering Company Must Have A Corresponding Support Organization And It Must Also Operate Or Be Able To Access A Corresponding Delivery Organization. The Company Offering The Tender Must Have Authorized Technicians Employed In Order To Be Able To Replace Critical Parts Of The Server Hardware On Site At The Tendering Authority If Necessary. Hot-Plug Parts, Such As Hard Disks Or Power Supplies, Are Usually Replaced By The Tendering Authority. Therefore, The Offering Company Must Have Appropriate Delivery And, If Necessary, Return Processes. It Should Be Noted That Companies That Already Work For The City Of Winterthur Or Are In A Supplier Relationship Are Not Considered To Have Been Previously Involved In This Tender And That These Companies Can Therefore Participate In This Process Without Any Restrictions.
