Gabriel Email gabriel.albaret@theglobalfund.org Synopsis The primary objective of this RFP will be to find technical expertise to implement a system to collect data and monitor the climate impact of health products, including GFs product portfolio, on country level, aiming to create a baseline of countries health supply chain greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This system should enable identification of potential levers to mitigate climate risk and impacts, developing plans, and implementing emissions reduction strategies across countrys supply chain operations and procedures, as an integral part of environmentally sustainable health product procurement and supply chain system (in terms of policy, regulations, standards, institutional coordination). Negotiation Type RFP Open Date 25/Oct/2024 4:11 PM Close Date 22/Nov/2024 11:59 PM Posting Date 25/Oct/2024 Experience Skills Knowledge and skills that will be critical to the projects success include, but are not limited to: - Proven track record on health products supply chain management. - Expertise and experience in running carbon footprint assessments of products across their full life cycle. - Experience in conducting environmental and sustainability assessments of products and their supply chains in Low-and-Middle-Income Countries, especially in Africa. - Existing tool and defined methodology that supports calculation of carbon footprint across the supply chain. - Experience in working on health products. - Experience developing carbon and environmental strategies/roadmaps in the public sector. - Understanding of health product regulations at country, regional and global levels. - Experience in capacity building.
