The Buildings To Be Renovated And Modernized Are The Classical Architectural Monument Herberzhäuser. The Two Houses Are Part Of A Building Ensemble That Was Built In 1832 As Residential Buildings For The Herberz Brothers. Houses No. 1 And No. 5 Are Owned By The City Of Krefeld. The Middle Building, House Number 3, Is Privately Owned And Is Not Part Of The Construction Project. House No. 3 Will Remain In Use While The Construction Work Is Being Carried Out. The Buildings Were Constructed In Solid Construction With Wooden Beam Ceilings. Construction Will Take Place Between Quarter 3/2026 And Quarter 3/2027. The Measure Covers Houses 1 And 5. Both Houses Will Each Receive A Fire Alarm System With Connection To The Fire Department. The Contact Point Is Always In The Entrance Area. Die Technik Wird Im Kellergeschoss Verortet. During Installation, Particular Attention Must Be Paid To Monument Protection.
